When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to navigate his inner darkness as he goes from student to vengeful serial killer under the tutelage of his father, Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar when Dexter (2006) first aired.
It was followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025)
I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much it felt like I was watching the old Dexter series. In the first episode, Dexter often recalled a period from his past, and this latest episode is like a return to those scenes, but expanded upon.
This latest episode is even more so
Another thing is, as dark and sad as the original series was, it also had dark humor. I hope the entire series is as good as the first episode.
The acting is spot on
I almost lost it when I saw a new Bautista, HA! And oh my god, don’t make me a newbie Deb!
